If this were the first item you ever bought from Brooks Brothers, it would surely be your last. I can't believe Brooks would even "green-light" such an ill conceived design. The socks are too tight even for my 11-C foot. As unfortunate as that may be, I can hardly focus on how the sock digs into my calves because the seam across the toe hurts even more. This is one more case where Brooks is being run from the boardroom and has lost touch with quality.

Classic Basic Sock
I have been wearing these socks for years. They fit right into my sock collection between casual (jeans) and dress (suit and tie). I wear them with colored chinos, khakis,cords, blazer with slacks, casual oxford shoe or penny loafer.

wish the socks were a bit larger
I have wide, size 12 feet and wish that the sizing were a bit more generous.

Crew socks
Not very "crew-like" or sporty. Looks like typical over the calf socks just shorter. Little stretch or give, not nice.
