It is very lightweight, has a natural stretch, and a softness that rivals cashmere. It has maintained its purity since 1765, when the original flock of sheep were gifted to the Elector of Saxony by the King of Spain. These sheep are direct ancestors to the flock that currently provide our supply of Saxxon wool.

What makes Saxxon wool so soft and durable is the crimp of the yarns, which helps to capture air and increase elasticity. Additionally, it is much more resistant to wrinkles.
