Rated 5 out of 5 by boli very smooth material, nice an soft
This is a very nice sweater, with a very fine and soft wool. It has an almost silky feel to it, seeming almost smoother than BB`s cashmere sweater (the cashmere sweaters are definitly softer, but you get what you pay for!), probably due to the very fine fiber. The sweater itself is very nice to wear and warm.
The only con for me is that the sweater is 10% artificial fibers, but i am a bit of a traditionalist and like my sweaters to be 100% natural... it will probably keep its shape longer with the lycra. Anyway I was forewarned and I still like it very much!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RTodd My new favorite sweater!
Wow, this is my new favorite sweater. I'm love my sweaters and have several from BB - cotton, wool, etc, but this one is my new favorite. I love the fit and the material. This is a great wool sweater that isn't too bulky. The lycra in the sweater allows a good amount of stretch that creates and excellent fit. I have four of these now and am ready to order more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by skycaddie great quality but color is different
This sweater is great to wear. It is soft like silk, not thin, not heavy.
Because Merino wool V-neck sweater is not available any more in this year, I ordered two Saxxon wool V-neck sweaters.
These are very satisfactory and I'd like to order another colors next year.
But the grey color is different from what we see on moniter screen.
It is not homogeneous grey color, but a rough mixture of black and light grey color.

Rated 2 out of 5 by wnhartley The V is just too pronounced for a classic look
The quality and overall fit of this sweater is excellent. Unfortunately, the "V" is cut so aggressively that I cannot wear this sweater. Compared to my Brooks Brothers cashmere v-necks, the drop in the "V" on these is over two inches lower. This means I either show a lot of skin or a lot of buttons on my dress shirt underneath, neither look is very attractive. I hope Brooks Brothers changes this in future iterations of this staple.
