Rated 1 out of 5 by Poorer quality than older version, horrible static I purchased this twin set since I thought it would be similar to those I purchased a couple of years ago. At first, I thought the only disappointing difference was that the weave was a looser, thinner, lighter weight cable, rendering the whole much flimsier than the original style. Then, upon trying it on, I found it snagged immediately on a zipper on my dress, and, because it is a flimsy knit, clung in an unflattering way with a bad drape. The ultimate last straw was that when I took it off (& I was wearing cotton underneath), it had terrible, shocking, crackling static cling! Brooks Bros. Is cutting corners again to save money. Do not buy this. Just like the reduced quality of the silk scarves, this reduced quality item isn't worth the money, even on sale. January 6, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointing quality I expected the same medium weight, tight cable silk cashmere I bought a couple years ago and was sorely disappointed when this arrived. It's VERY thin, not nearly as soft as my older version of this sweater, and has a wider weave than the old sweater. Plus, I could see a few pills on the sides just when I pulled it out of the bag. Definitely not worth the price. November 2, 2012
