Mary McLaughlin is the creator of this exquisite collection of American hand painted enamel cuff links. Enamel's deep glazed surface can absorb a wide variety of translucent and opaque pigments. First, a thin coating of powdered glass and clay are applied to a copper form and fired to create a permanent bond between the enamel and metal. After several layers are fired, the enamel becomes a smooth, white surface, ready for hand painting. The finished product is truly a work of art. Hand painted with white block-style initials. Sterling silver, t-back. Your last initial will be located in the center of the hand painted monogram. Presented in a gift box. Made in the USA. Please allow an additional three weeks for delivery.

Traditional but with flare Beautiful work with the letters. Nice size, surely they make a statement. February 1, 2012
Very Nice I've been very happy with these.( My only complaint is one of the cufflinks arrived with a hairline scratch through one of the letters, but it was slight and not worth going through process of returning.) The deep black of the enamel is really nice, as is the lettering. They're definitely on the formal side. Have worn them with a tuxedo, which is probably their best use. December 7, 2011
worthy small investment I purchased this set of cufflinks for one of my son's high school graduation Although when he opened them his reaction lacked the overwhelming joy that a new surfboard would have provided I feel they are a lovely heirloom quality purchase that he will use as he gets older and can be a keepsake. In the picture, the cufflinks show this order: H-B-S
Does this mean "H" is the first initial, "S" is the middle initial, and "B" is the last initial?

H is the first initial, B is the last, and S is the middle. However, order of lettering depends on specific design. For example; if you choose the diamond design as a backdrop, then order of initials is first, last, and middle. Brooks Brothers configures this for you as a customer; so, just enter your initials the traditional way when selecting monogram service.
