Great purchase - highly recommended I bought this coat 4 years ago when it came in black. One of the best purchases I have ever made from Brooks Brothers. The coat can be used in both the summer and for colder weather because you can take the liner out. In addition, it is very practical for rain and snowy weather. Furthermore, it can be used as both a very formal coat and somewhat casual coat as well. I lost it recently so I am trying to see if Brooks Brothers will make it for the fall / winter lineup - don't see why it would only come in tan. Great purchase though. October 20, 2012

The button-in liner is khaki brown with a quited area covering the upper back. The raincoat liner is a small brown and tan check -- kind of like a tattersall. The both look good.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Single-Breasted Trench Coat will certainly retain its water-resistant properties after dry cleaning. However, we do recommend that you do not dry clean more than once a year.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry. At this time, our size charts are not available for use on the new site as we are currently upgrading them. However, for the Single-Breasted Trench Coat, a size 38 Regular is between a Small and a Medium in standard sizing. Depending on your height and weight, and your preference for a trimmer or fuller fit, you could select either. Without specific measurements though, we are hesitant to recommend a particular size.

Hello, thank you for your inquiry into our Single-Breasted Trench Coat. This coat is considered to be one of our mainline fashion items and is not designed for frigid temperatures. We feel comfortable assigning it a "Warm" rating, for moderate temperatures up to 42 degrees Fahrenheit. The wool liner will certainly provide added warmth, but it would probably not make a significant difference in the extreme cold.
