Slim Fit Chinos 4.2 5 6 6
Very impressive look, comfort, and a better fit. I normally wear Milano Advantage Chinos to work, and skinny jeans when I'm not at work. So I was very impressed by the updated and slimmer fit of these chinos. I wouldn't mind them being a little bit skinnier in the leg, but they are a very good step forward for Brooks Brothers. Waist fits good as well. They also have great colors, I bought the blue and british tan, and almost bought the wine. I like the small accents, but could do without the pocket lining. They are much more comfortable tan the regular stiff non iron chinos, I will have problem ironing these if needed to have the added comfort and style over Milano chinos. November 22, 2012
Great fit and details Loved these chino's. The fit is slim so you will need to go up a size or two in the waist if you are athletically built. They washed up great in cold water and came out of the dryer with very few wrinkles. A great go to pair of pants for weekends. October 1, 2012
Great pants The pants are fantastic. I am 5'8" and weigh ~ 155 lbs and typically wear a 32/30. I bought the 33/30 because I didn't know how slim the fit was. The 33/30 fits very nicely and I probably could have gotten the 32/30 (but that would mean no dessert for a while). The color is a little darker and more vibrant than the picture on my screen. I like this as the pic on my screen makes the pants look a little faded (which these pants are not). Of course the little details are what make this pant stand out. September 27, 2012
hipster fit I really wanted to like these. Soft, good quality, attractive details. Then I tried them on. Fit in the waist/hips was ok...but after that, it felt like I was wearing a pair of skinny jeans. So snug. Unbelievably snug. (I wear a 32-33 waist and 39 jacket, so I don't think this was a body type issue) September 20, 2012

Answer:
Slim fit chinos are a bit slimmer around the leg and have a more casual fit (more like skinny jeans) than Milano Advantage Chinos. They're also not the wrinkle free style (although they dont wrinkle much) so they're not as stiff and mold to your body more.

Answer:
Milano trousers are European inspired, which equates to a plain front, tab closure, lower rise, and slimmer in the leg.
Our new Slim Fit chino is inspired by a five-pocket jean, which sits lower on the waist, has a tapered leg, and a shorter rise.

Answer:
Slim Fit Chinos seem to be slimmer everywhere versus the Clark (and even Milano). Lower rise, slimmer waist, slimmer around the leg and knee, and smaller leg opening.

Answer:
I'll answer my own question, since i tried on and purchased a pair at my local Brooks Brothers store. The Slim Fit is slimmer than the Clark, lower rise and tighter in top block, and more tapered in the leg. Not an "Italian" fit like the "Milano", closer to a 5 pocket jean.

While I'm at it, I'll answer Chopper's question. The local store didn't know what I was talking about when I asked for the "Slim Fit Chinos". I had to show them the listing on the web site. When they checked their new stock, they recognized them as what they know as their new "University Slim Fit".

The tags on the chinos didn't actually say either "Slim Fit" or "University Slim Fit".
