Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Soft Shell Hooded Jacket is lined with Polar Fleece with a taped seam to keep you warm. In addition, there is an inside "skirt" at the rubber hem that prevents the wind from coming inside. Indeed, this coat offers warmth but not as much as a heavy wool coat or ski jacket.
