Hello sir, thank you for your inquiry. Indeed our Solid Jersey Blazer does have three buttons. It is crafted as a 3/2 roll lapel, much like our original sack coats. Essentially, the top button is non-functional and is basically unseen beneath the rolled lapel at top. Years ago, intrepid prepsters took to ironing down the top button when two-button coats became popular. It is a classic, Ivy League, preppy look and is very traditional.
