Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Solid Knit Tie is perfectly versatile. It looks great when paired with a sport shirt and casual pants, as well as with a proper dress shirt and suit. When tying the knot, you must consider that a knit tie is thicker than the average silk tie and therefore requires a smaller knot. Additionally, since this tie is very slim, a bulky knot would appear disproportionate.

When tying, we must recommend a Four-in-Hand knot. It is more narrow than most and easy to complete. You may even consider loosening the knot slightly for a more casual look.
