I recently purchased the silve plaque buckle and two calf belts. I love the look. However, the problem I have is that I can't keep the belt tight around my waist. Invariably it loosens so that it doesn't feel secure around my waist. Is there anything you can do to keep this kind of belt and buckle tight? Does the situation improve with use as the belt leather looses some of its smoothness?

I have the same problem with the same buckle. You are,unfortunately, out of luck. Return the item for a rebound if you can, otherwise you are going to have to wear very well fitting pants and use the buckle-belt as a decorative piece.

Answer: 
When the prong on the buckle is secure to the belt strap it should make the belt fit securely around your waist. Is it possible that the belt strap is not the correct size?
