I guess I am the exception, as many folks give this product high marks. I have used Brooks Brothers undershirts for many years. I loved the Blue label undershirts (made in USA) and was somewhat disappointed when they were discontinued. The red label undershirts (made in Canada) were acceptable, but not as good as the Blue. The current version with a red printed label (made in Thailand) is a big step down to Unacceptable. The cotton quality is inferior and the neck is uncomfortable. I will search for another brand.

Rated 1 out of 5 by capstone Under-shirts are a poor fit vs earlier design
I have purchased Brooks Bros under shirts for years. I ordered the under-shirt in the standard (not athletic design) fit. I compared side by side to my older under-shirts and the new shirts are cut much slimmer vs the old under-shirts. This happened several weeks ago and I assumed that I picked up the athletic cut. WRONG! Ordered the stanard size, again, only to have the same issue. Very disappointed in this change. The older Brooks Bros under-shirts are a few inches wider and a bit longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by lrk63 Tagless? Not really
I've been buying BB tees for many years, and I appreciated when BB removed the tags from the necks of the shirts. However, they subsequently added two additional tags at the bottom of the shirt. These contain laundering instructions (redundant to what's printed at the neck) and a list of addresses of BB business unis. These are truly unnecessary and, while not as bothersome when it comes to rubbing, they do still rub my body. As a result the first thing I do when I buy new ones is cut the tags out with a razor blade.
Otherwise the shirts still fit and last as long as they have in the past. I get a year out of first-line duty and a year out of second-line duty until they get turned into cleaning rags.

I loved the old BrooksBrothers undershirts. Fit nicely w/ just the right length to stay tucked in while not being too long. They went and changed them. I bought a package of these after Christmas '09 and by April '10 they have shrunk more then BB undershirts that are a year old. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jm1959 Fall a little short
These tee-shirts feel great on. The neck has not curled up yet and still lays flat after a month. The disappointing thing is when I first got these I really liked the fit but after serval runs through the wash they have shrunk more than I would have liked. I guess I should have gone with the xl.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Esox A flawed change
Just as another reviewer noted, BB has changed these shirts. The current edition bunches up around the neck stitching after a wash and shrinks considerably. The shrinking is mainly "top to bottom", meaning the shirt is shorter after one wash.
I have found the new shirt needs to be re-tucked many times each day--due to being shorter. Maybe this is only my pet peeve, but once tucked, I don't like to re-tuck. I have to say that I will not buy these BB tees again. A real bummer since I loved the old ones.

Rated 5 out of 5 by rec3292 Best Underwear Ever
My husband loves Brooks Brothers underwear and I don't even think about buying any other brand. You cannot beat the quality for the price. The undershirts retain their shape after months of laundering. The necks never seem to stretch out of shape as with less expensive brands. I do not follow the care instructions and wash them in hot water with bleach. I've not had a problem with any of them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by stbch Darwin not always right..
... it's not always the fittest that survive. While they look nice out of the box, their light-weight didn't withstand a washing as I had expected. The major defect was/is the stretching out of shape in the neck band.
I'll back for other items, but not these t-shirts.
