Rated 4 out of 5 by StyleforumMember Excellent Job BB! But Still baggy around waist
I love BB non-iron slim fit and own 10 of them, but like many others, did not like the still quite generous cut of the slim fit non iron shirts. If you have a muscular build or small shoulders to waist ratio (I have a 6 inch drop with large shoulders and arms) you will likely find these extra slim fit shirts slightly baggy around the waist but fit perfect in the chest/shoulders/arms.The fit in the shoulders and chest is slimmer than the "slim fit" and the lack of a center pleat makes for a much cleaner looking shirt. I will still need to have these shirts darted to have that perfect "pinned" type fit but these are easily the best fitting brooks brothers shirts I have purchased. To make these absolitely flawless I would need more taper in the torso down to the waist, the option to remove the breast pocket, more collar options (english spreads and londener's) and more colors and patterns (which I presume are en route!). Now I just need to wait for more colors and patterns. Excellent job Brooks Brothers!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by nzachary Great new colours
I purchase a few of the first extra-slim fit non-iron shirts in the original blue and white colours, with the forward point collar. It is nice to see that BB has expanded this line by brining in some additional colours like pink and French blue.
I didn't know how I would like the Ainsley collar as opposed to the forward point, but I am pleasantly surprised. While the forward point is a more "business" or "executive" look, the Ainsley gives a slightly more elegant appearance, in my opinion. Also, it allows for some larger knots.
For me (177 cm and 73 kg [about 5'10" and 160 lbs, respectively]), the ESF shirts are the most appropriate fit made by Brooks Brothers. They don't pillow nearly as much at the waist as the slim fits, and they are great through the sleeve (whereas the slim fits are quite baggy). The only thing I have noticed is that I need to go up one size in the sleeve. For instance, I wear a 16 33 in other shirts, but a 16 34 in the ESFs. This need is likely related to the higher-set arm holes.

I am 6' 1", 170 lbs. I am extremely picky about my dress shirts.
Every slim/lanky guy that wears dress shirts knows that you can't just pick up any dress shirt in your size off the shelf that says "Tailored fit" or "Slim fit" on the tag. Most shirts that say that on the tag are still so baggy that you could fit a second person inside the shirt with you. This shirt from BB is different.
It provides us slimmer guys a shirt that fits like a custom made, one-of-a-kind dress shirt. I purchased my first extra slim fit from BB for my wedding because I knew it would drive me crazy if, in all of the wedding pictures, my dress shirt was pillowing out of the back of my pants.
This shirt proved itself worthy at my wedding and I just placed an order for 3 more.

I purchased a few of these shirts for my 14 year old son and I must say they are an excellent fit for a skinny underdeveloped boy. They are cut a lot like the shirts in the boy's dept.

This is a unique and very well executed shirt. Sadly, I need to return it because it is actually too slim - a first time for me. The arm holes are too tight, making the material pull across the chest.

The BB slim fit may fit a slim man but the extra slim are radically slimmer and I doubt that 1% of even skinny men would find them comfortable. The armholes are way too high and tight as well as the chest.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ants Finally a BB shirt that fits!
After being disappointed in the past with BB slim fit shirts, they've finally gotten the cut right with their extra slim fit shirts.
I'm not that slim, in fact my Dr. thinks I can loose another 5lbs, but the fact is BB shirts were just too billowy. Neck and Arms were always on the spot.
This new line gets rid of all that excess fabric. I need to save a few bucks, but my entire shirt collection is going to be replaced with this new line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NewMountain A very good shirt
This is my first Brooks Brothers product and I am very pleased. It is of very high quality and remains remarkably wrinkle free after a long day.
When I ordered it, I was concerned that "extra slim fit" would be too small for me. When it arrived, I was astonished at how loose the fit was. I am 6' and average weight (180), yet the shirt was quite generous and will require a tailor to slim it down slightly. If you are on the fence about the size, my experience would be to remember that the shirts seem to be quite generous.
I called to verify their return policies should the shirt not fit at all. The person who answered the phone was very kind and helpful. I am pleased with the product and the service and have found a place that provides quality professional clothing with an equally enjoyable experience.
