Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous Robe Thick and luxurious. An inner layer of terry to soak up water after a bath and a smooth sharp-looking outer layer. Sleeves have a natural cuff you can roll down for more arm length or keep up for more freedom of movement. Beautiful deep blue color. I was not sure of the size, as I actually have a 42 waist and the recommended size was XXL, but only XL was available. Decided to try it and return if too small, but it worked out perfectly. Not too small but also not swimming in it like I do some robes. It's a keeper! January 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fine Bathrobe, but Too Heavy for my Preference I bought this robe on line, but reluctantly had to retunr it. It looks luxurious, hasd a velour type feel, and fits fairly well. However, it is too heavy (both in weight and warmth), and the sleeves are a tad short. Perhaps the sleeve length is the style, but it does not fit as well as the Chambry rone did; the large in this Supima robe was a little short in the sleeves- I am 6'1". The heaviness that I refer to was actually more significant in the weight than the warmth. The robe fit much like the terrycloth rone Brooks Brothers use to sell. It is just a little too bulky for my prference. Perhaps another customer will find it perfect for their use, but for me, the Chambrey robe fit better and of course was much lighter. I still may buy a heavier robe for the colder weather, but something less in weight. October 9, 2013

I recall BB offered a heavy weight terry cloth robe in navy or white. Is this the same robe? If not what is the difference? As I recall, that terry cloth robe was cut very full, such that you frequently would take a lower size.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. Our Supima Robe is cut very similarly to our former style. However, this robe is not offered in a terry cloth finish. Terry cloth is typically quite heavy and warm whereas the Supima Robe, although warm, is a bit lighter in weight.

Kind regards,

Is the Supima robe more for fall and winter, as contrasted with the Chambray robe, which seems more for spring and summer?

Answer:
Hello, our robes are intended for any time of year really. It all depends on the level of warmth you require. Supima is not as warm as a terrycloth robe and chambray is indeed a more lightweight, cooler option. However, that too, may be used throughout the year depending on the amount of warmth you require.

I feel like robes typically run rather large. Since I want to order one monogrammed for my husband, I'm afraid the large will be too big or the medium will be too small. He is 5'11" and weighs just under 200 lbs. He does not like things to be too loose fitting. What do you suggest for a robe? His shirt size is 16 /1/2, 34.
Thank you!

Answer:
Hello,

It depends on style of lettering font, block or diamond. Diamond is first, last, and middle initial. The other style for monogramming is block lettering, which is first, middle, and last initials.

Best Regards.

Answer:
Based on my own experience at 6'1", a large would be right for your husband. He might find the sleeves a tad short, but this may be how this robe is designed to fit.

Answer:
Based on his measurements we would suggest a large, although please note that our robes do tend do run on the bigger side.

In regards to monogramming, surnames go in the middle and then first initial to its left and middle initial to its right - but please fill out the monogramming section when you go to purchase the robe and we will do the work for you.
