Ok, but necessary
I like the weight of the fabric and the fit. i do not like the shallow front pockets and their wear. I must repurchase these about every six months. I wash and wear them every week. i have learned to wash them inside out to reduce the lines where the color washes away on the creases.

Great business casual pants
The fit is perfect; I really like that these come in a 33 length since that means I don't need alterations. I also like the cuffs that come standard and are very well done. These stay crisp and neat throughout the day. They pair perfectly with a no-iron button down and blazer for a professional business casual look. I will be buying more of these in the future.

Really smart casual trousers
These and the Elliot are my favourites. They really are crease resistant and wear very well.
I bought Thompson because they were available in a 31" leg, which is me, so I did not have to get 32" and get them altered.
I hope it is decided to continue to offer this option in other trousers, particularly cords.

Nice fit and look that last a long time
I've purchase several of these pants over the years and they last longer than any other brand I've tried and they always look crisp and fit nice.

Answer:
Consider releasing the cuff and hemming the bottom as a straight leg, no cuff to get the extra length. Otherwise, since a 36" length or beyond is outside the "ready to wear" norm, speculating on demand for longer length would prove costly from the standpoint of unsold merchandise.2 years, 7 months ago

The difference is where there is cuff (and pleat front) or not?
As I know, Thompson fit is also straight fit like Clark, but the Feature of Thompson is described as "Relaxed through hip and thigh", while the Feature of Clark is "Straight through hip and thigh." Let me know the difference between them, please. From Men who want to buy the Clark fit with pleat front and cuff.

Answer:
The label clearly says to wash and dry them. I put them in the washer and dryer; they do not shrink and they come out of the dryer looking new. No ironing required!1 year, 3 months ago

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. It is an excellent question indeed. If your husband comfortably fits into a size 36 x 32 in the Elliot fit pants, you may certainly select the same in the Thompson. However, he may find the Thompson to be a bit tight. If the 36 x 32 are already a bit on the tighter side, we recommend sizing up to a size 37 x 32 to account for the difference. The Thompson is our trimmest pleated front offering and the legs are straighter and slimmer. We do hope this information is helpful and wish you luck with your purchase.
