Rated 4 out of 5 by windWahine Very well made but the sleeves are too long!
I recently purchased this lovely blazer (choosing it over the classic two button, which was more traditional), largely because the knit makes it extremely comfortable, and the vertical row of buttons on the back is a unique and interesting departure from the norm. I did have to have the sleeves shortened, however, which has never happened before - I am 5' 8" and my arms are only slightly shorter than my 6' tall friend. The staff informed me that the extra length was so that when you bend your arms the sleeve remains long - really? Like most people, I tend to walk and stand with my arms at my side, and the first sign of a poorly fitting jacket is sleeves dragging knuckles. With that said, in hindsight I would have suggested that instead of taking the length off the end of the sleeve that they should have lifted at the shoulder to avoid disrupting the good distance between the buttons and the cuff. Also, the arm patches are a bit low, so lifting at the shoulder would make even more sense. Regardless, this is a beautiful blazer, very well made, almost as comfortable as your favourite cozy sweater, definitely worth the money, and will be an essential piece in my wardrobe for many years.

I am wearing brooks brothers' size 2 or 4 blouse/shirts.
If this jacket is a slim fit I think that I have to choose size 4 but if not, size 2 could be better.
Is this jacket a slim fit? or a normal fit?
I wear 28" jeans and I am 166 cm tall.
I am thinking about size. What does it seem a better choice?

Answer:
We feel comfortable suggesting a size two. However, you can always tailor the size four for a more personalized fit.Kind regards,
