Rated 4 out of 5 by Traditional shorts I really like the traditional look and fit of these boxer shorts. I am a taller man and the longer leg length under trousers is great also. The only bad thing is the seam in the center seat. This should be changed to a full balloon seat for comfort. March 14, 2012

The one with the tie on the back (back tie boxer) or the one with button tabs (french back boxer)? any experience?

I have tried both and prefer the greater adjustment flexibility of the tie-back rather than the "quantum" adjustments of the french back.

The tie on is the most comfotable because you cannot feel the ties at all. Buttons are great, but sometimes the tabs become wrinkled in laundering and tend to bunch up.
