Rated 3 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3 out of 5 by Sized small. I ordered this sweater in a medium, just as I do all my shirts and sweaters. It fits snugly around my torso, which is not bad, and the length of the arms is correct for me. Unfortunately, it is a little short. When I raise my arms up, the sweater comes up as well, exposing my stomach. I expect that being Red Label it is sized for the college crowd, even though I am slim with no paunch. I'm sorry to return it, since I like the styling. December 10, 2013

I wear a red fleece size small sport shirt, and would like to layer this over without it being too big and baggie, but the sizing guide says that I should be wearing a medium. Is it better to go with small to get a closer fit, or a medium because it'll be too small?

Answer:
I purchased this in a size Large. I usually wear a large in polos, slim fit dress shirts, etc, but with sweaters, I generally have to order them in an XL in order to get the sleeve length long enough for my 6'4" build. I ordered it in a Large and it fits absolutely perfectly. It is not too snug, the arms are long enough and the torso length is perfect (falling just below my belt line, but not too short where it rises up awkwardly). Keep in mind this is a chunky, which from wearing this sweater, I assume its a little bit bigger than most sweaters and is more of a traditional fit rather than a slim or extra slim fit. You can't go wrong with ordering the size you normally wear for your regular clothes as the 'chunkiness' gives a little bit more room.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your inquiry. We recommend selecting a size that is in line with our guide, particularly if you would like to wear this sweater as a layering item. A size Small might be a bit too snug when worn over a sport shirt.
