Rated 3 out of 5 by Eulenaugen Nice fabric, nice styling, but poor fit
I have been buying Traditional Fit Oxford Boxers in light blue for many years. I love the look and feel of these boxers, but lately Brooks Brothers' sizing is off, making it impossible for me to wear them. I always buy 32, but recently the "size 32" boxers fit more like 33 or 34. They are too loose on me.
I took a ruler and measured Traditional Fit Oxford Boxers, size 32, bought in August 2009, and Traditional Fit Oxford Boxers, size 32, bought in October 2012. There is a huge difference in the sizing despite both being size 32.

I've been wearing these for decades (not the same ones). They last for years and are very comfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DapperDon Well worth the price
Once you wear these boxers, you'll never try another brand. The oxford cloth is very durable and comfortable. The elastic and fabric hold up to washing, making the extra money you spend on these boxers well worth it.

Oxford material is a better durability than broadcloth, without compromising comfort. Expect years of service.

I have boxers in both fabrics, but I can't ever remember which is which. One fabric feels somewhat more coarse, but wears well and doesn't need ironing. The thinner, finer fabric seems to wrinkle and bunch up more.

Answer:
Probably the oxford is more coarse, and the broadcloth is finer. I never iron my boxers, and they feel fine.1 year, 5 months ago

I do not know what you mean by "traditional fit," but, I would recommend these. These are some of the most comfortable boxers I have ever owned. The waist band is comfortable, and they fit very well. i bought three this year, and I plan on buying more in order to gradually change over to these so I can wear them all of the time.1 year, 5 months ago
