Great Jacket I was nervous about buying the jacket as it might be considered old school, I watch the MTV award show and saw big star wearing a similar jacket. I bought the jacket and I love the look. December 1, 2010
Disappointing The sport coat is ok, but it is extremely disappointing when you get charged seperately for simple alterations and they are done wrong, requiring refitting and another week +. Unacceptable! December 1, 2010
delivery condition In the past BB suit have always arrived in pristine condition. This time the suit looked as though it had been stored beneath something very heavy that had left many indented marks on the suit. The sleeves were heavily creased/folded and the suit could not be worn without being pressed. As with other recent jacket purchases the jacket cuffs were not properly finished and the lining is not stitched to the jacket. Is this because BB assumes everyone will want to alter the length of the sleeves. But I am happy with the 41 R size so why do I have to do this extra work? November 17, 2010
Dressed up or Dressed down This was my first blazer from BB. Their tailor helped me with this perfect fitting jacket. It was comfortable to wear all night. It looked great even when paired up with jeans. There's a reason BB has been around for so long . October 30, 2010

There are two identical looking blazers on the same page on the BB site, both listed with the same name. The first is Item#190M, the other is Item#792M. Is there a difference?
Also, I recently ordered Item#190M. On the receipt, the item description says: "B EASE/STRCH BLAZER." Does that mean that the 1818 Blazer is made using the Brooksease stretch fabric?
Thanks!

Answer:
The apparent difference indicated on the BB site is that Item#792M is made with "lightweight" wool.

Answer:
A quick piece of advice. After years of shopping both in the store and online, I have found that there are often duplicate entries on the website (picture, descriptions, product names) for different products. Give your local store a call if you want more information.

Another note: I do own the 1818 Class Two Button and it definitely is not a BrooksEase or "stretch" fitting blazer

Answer:
1818 refers to the quality and price range of the suit. The 1818 is the next best suit after the Golden Fleece line. A Madison suit would be the fullest cut. The Fitzgerald is a slimmer cut.

Dear Customer:
Your recent inquiry was forwarded to this office. Brooks Brothers is proud to have dressed generations of families for nearly two centuries. We have shaped the American style of dress through fashion innovation, fine quality, personal service and exceptional value in our products.

Unfortunately, you cannot choose sleeve length in selecting a blazer or sport coat. The best way to select a properly fitting sport coat or blazer would be to measure your height, shoulders, and chest.

Thank you for contacting Brooks Brothers.

Can you tell us the difference between a Sport Coat and Blazer along with appropriate occasions for wear and appropriate ancillary clothing for each? Brooks Brothers is worth it - and people can see that you have style and discernment.
