Buttons! It's a nice suit but they should let you know that the buttons are not sewn onto the sleeves! May 2, 2012
Not Quite Right Maybe a little too "modern" for my taste. Armholes just a bit too high and overall just a bit too snug (same with the matching trousers). This is the first BB suit I ever purchased and wasn't impressed with the fabric, or the drape, etc. I know, I probably need to get it tailored. And, of course I am a total neanderthal, but where the heck are the buttons for the sleeves on this jacket? Is this the suit they sell in the BB Outlet stores? March 3, 2012
Good suit, nice material Just got the suit back from my tailor, and it looks great! The soft fabric helps this suit drape nicely, so when it's properly tailored, it would just fit like a glove. I expected the regent fit to be a bit slimmer. If you are a really thin person (like me: 5'10, 145lbs) you would probably find the suit too wide at the waist. But that's alright, a competent tailor can easily fix that so just make sure the shoulder fits and the nice fabric will find the contour of your body once it comes back from the tailor. July 22, 2011
No complaints The jacket appears to be half-canvassed and the material feels very nice. This is a great suit for work. January 19, 2011

The Fitzgerald fit is modeled after former US President JFK's body-type, which is actually relatively rare these days in men. JFK was relatively tall at 6'+ but thin (approx 150lbs). Most likely the Fitzgerald will be tighter and trimmer fitting relative to the Regent.

The Fitzgerald is the slimmer suit. The Regent is a contemporary fit, for a slimmer look. Trimmer chest and back width with a higher arm hole. Smaller in point-to-point, back width and half waist.

Regent has hand stitch ( Pic) around lapel and pockets. It has side vents and is slim but not as
slim as Fitzgerald.

I don't know about the brooks cool, but it is a better fit, nicer fabric and definately a big step up from the ease and seperates lines in my opinion.

The suits are ½ canvas with an Italian chest piece made of 3 layers 1st layer is horsehair and wool, the 2nd layer is pure horsehair and the third is felt.

No, the jackets from the website do not have pick stitching on the lapels. If you are looking for pick stitching, you can order it from a retail store.

The jacket sleeves come unfinished with the buttons in an inside pocket to make altering the length easier. You can easily ask your tailor to add working button holes if you like.

Personally I think they are over rated. Surgeon cuffs make future alterations very difficult if not impossible and when are you really going to unbutton your jacket sleeves on a business suit unless you want your friends to think i's bespoke for some reason.
