Walking coat made from pure Loro Piana® wool is perfectly versatile, complementing both your casual and dressed-up attire. Dyed-to-match lining made from polyester. One-way, center-front zipper with a metal pull, hidden by button placket. Three front flap pockets may be tucked in to create besome welt pockets. Faux-suede undercollar and sleeve tabs. Button tabs and cuffs. Hook-and-bar closure at collar. Three interior pockets; left has a zipper closure, right has one button-closure pocket and one snap-closure pocket. Dry clean. Imported.

Hello sir, thank you for your inquiry. Our Walking Coat is not trimmer than our typical mainline offerings, in fact it is line with our standard sizing. While it is possible to alter the sleeve length, we urge caution as there is a button cuff on each whose placement may look awkward if it is moved closer to the hem line. We recommend speaking with a trusted tailor and allowing he or she to determine if they are able to make the alterations.

Answer: 
Hello, our Walking Coat is best suited for mild temperatures but not cold winter weather. It is a transitional piece, ideally suited for brisk fall or spring weather. There is simply not enough insulation to provide warmth in the middle of winter. Of course, if you reside somewhere in the south or southwest, perhaps this could suffice in their more mild winters but for the northeast, midwest and northwest, we recommend trying a parka or wool pea coat.
