Rated 4 out of 5 by nme116 The shirt fits great compared to the slim-fit shirts. One should realize that most American companies size shirts much larger because as Americans we are usually much larger. This shirt is more of a European slim fit. Before you purchase the shirt I would suggest you look at measurements on the website. The burgundy color looks great and it is nice to see Brooks Brothers is using a true spread collar.
My complaint is that the fabric is coarse. It would be nice if a higher quality cotton was used.

I have searched high and low for a good "slim fit" dress shirt. There are so many dress shirts out there that claim to be "slim fit" but still billow out and look like I'm wearing a parachute. Or of course, there's the other extreme where they are skin tight, which is equally undesirable. If you've found yourself in the same predicament, not able to find a shirt that actually FITS your frame properly, look no further. I recently purchased 2 of the BB "Extra Slim Fit" dress shirts and plan on purchasing more soon. I am 6'4", 180lbs and got 15.5/34. It suited me great.

Be forewarned that they're not kidding when they call this shirt "extra-slim" fit. My boyfriend is a lean, 6'5" 210-pound rower...but this shirt was MUCH too slim for him, particularly through the chest. He did, however, love the fit of other slim-fit (not "extra-slim" fit) Brooks Brothers shirts I got him.
Also, I got it in the burgundy gingham pattern, and as soon as he tried it on, my first reaction was "Bob's Big Boy." The color and pattern really look like a darker version of the overalls on that restaurant's mascot. Or maybe just like a tablecloth in an Italian restaurant.
Good quality shirt, but unless you're borderline emaciated, I'd recommend Brooks Brothers shirts in their regular slim fit, rather than this extra-slim fit.

Rated 4 out of 5 by illuminatiBarre Fits me pretty much perfectly, though an extra half-inch in the shoulders would be nice.
BB's extra slim fits are the only shirts i've found that fit my big(ish) neck/shoulders/arms AND my normal-sized waist.
Pretty much the only shirts I can wear now. I just wish the sport shirts were sized by neck and sleeve like the dress shirts.

Nice crisp cotton and god strong colors, stitching is neat, buttons on the small side (which I like). Fit is very slim. One major issue – washed the shirt once, did not put in the drier, but the sleeves shrank about 1/2". So you may want to buy a longer sleeve length.

The waistline and tapering make this shirt, which maintains the same consistent quality, near perfect.
The underarm seam near the chest is a bit snug for folks with a longer torso, but still fits well.

These are slim fitting but not excessively so.
The fabric is a bit stiff but the fit makes up for it.
They fit me better than the Black Fleece ones since the sleeves are long enough for me.
