English quality When I started wearing these, Brooks Brothers still had a Chicago store on Madison Avenue--back in the days when one salesperson had all your sizing and other personal information either memorized or available in a little notebook. Willard suggested a few pair of the over-the-calf version with a suit purchase and I've been a fan ever since (Carter administration). Buy a size 1/2 smaller than your shoe size, wash them in cold water and air dry them; they'll look great and last twenty years. July 12, 2010
golden fleece OTC socks i've been wearing these soxs for at least 40 years. the quality never varies and they hold up extremely well when washed over the years. April 1, 2010
