Repeat purchase We love the pants BUT they did not have more than one pair available in what we purchased and they did not have the size we actually wanted... If it is that popular why then do we struggle getting the size (has occured before) This was for 34' waist June 2, 2011
Excellent pants This is at least the sixth pair of Brooks brothers. permanent press cotton pants I have purchased. They wear very well and look good even after a few seasons. I tried the Milano fit and found it tight and uncomfortable. The Clark fit is much more to my liking. Iwas able to return the Milano pairs at no cost to me which I did appreciate. My only quality objection is to the pockets which wear through much sooner than the rest of the fabric June 1, 2011
the advantage of advantage chinos For many years I avoided wearing khaki's or chinos, reason 1 being they reminded me of my military days and secondly I remember walking past a bank on a saturday and there were hundreds of guys all dressed exactly alike in khaki's and polo shirts. the sight remains even today a journey into satorial hell. I visited BB last year and was persuaded to try a pair of the dark colored advantage chinos. They felt so good that I bought a few other pair in various colors and wore them with what ever I felt like., they feel so good that I am almost wearing them everyday. But i will never stand next to more than five other advantage wearers. May 25, 2011
Didn't like the "Advantage" Fit-wise, these were OK, but could use somewhat more "rise" for me (Clark fit). The biggest problem I had with them, though, is the no-iron "Advantage" fabric. It does a good job of preventing wrinkles, but the fabric feels uncomfortably stiff and "synthetic" to me, even after several washes (so much so that I have given up on wearing them at all). Maybe I am overly sensitive to such things (I don't like non-iron-treated cotton in general), but I would not purchase these again unless there was an option to get a non-treated cotton fabric.
