Superb I had my last pair for twenty-seven years. Yes; you read that right. And the only reason they're not here is because I didn't take excellent care of them (re-soling them as soon as the sole began to deteriorate). Now it's time for my second pair (I'm 60 yrs old). The best cordovan loafers in the country. And the greatest looking, too. With or without socks, they are so comfortable. January 6, 2012

Even though they are more expensive, in my experience the cordovan horsehide leather will last 2-3 times longer than calfskin. Hence, the shoes are a great value since you'll spend less in the long run on replacement shoes. Besides being very durable, the leather is very supple, and conforms nicely to the shape of your feet for an extremely comfortable fit. Also the sheen of the leather is amazing.
