Cordovan Unlined Penny Loafers 5 5 18 22
Longtermcustomer Very well made shoe that is highly recommended by my shoe repair man. In reality, it is a re-labeled Alden shoe that is well respected and regarded among those who know shoes. April 16, 2011
Cordovan Penniloafer Shoes I am using this kind of shoe for years. Quality and comfort can hardly be surpassed. Just bought a new one the other day at Madison Avenue store. Graet experience. The old shoe keeps in use! November 11, 2010
After a Long Search I have tried lots of shoes at this price range and above. It all starts with the last. This shoe is slightly wider in the forefoot than the Alden Cordovan loafer. It is also quite a bit lighter without giving up durability. There is a good balance in terms of breathability and protection. Unlike Italian loafers, you will not feel the cold sidewalk through the soles. The shoe takes a moderate amount of breaking in, but once broken in, so long as it is the right last for your foot, it is an absolute pleasure to wear. I walk several miles per day around my city and these shoes show little wear in the sole and have held up unlike any shoe this comfortable that I have worn. If the Alden Cordovan is too narrow in the forefoot, this shoe will fit you wonderfully. October 20, 2010
