pretty good jazz disk....Cab Calloway music picked this up on a whim....we are huge jazz fans and like this disk, only drawback is volumn seens to vary somewhat between some songs.... September 29, 2010

Sugar Rum Cherry! Excellent sound for a "big band" orchestra. My favorite is the 5th track-- Sugar Rum cherry--- The 10th track-- "Pyramid" is also a great rendition of the Duke's classic-- I listened to the original and then the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra version and its amazing how different they are but so alive, vibrant, and just downright jazzy! Wynton Marsalis did a great job at directing this orchestra. The entire CD has an excellent sound and is very entertaining-- For the Jazz Lover in you! March 16, 2010
