Rated 1 out of 5 by Northerngirl Inconsistent Fit
I recently purchased two pairs of size 6 wool trousers in the Catherine Cut. They fit like a dream, so I purchased two pairs of size 6 chinos in the Catherine cut. While the waist size was identical to the wool trousers, the chinos were nearly four inches smaller through the hips and thighs. This is a major aggravation for a catalogue shopper.

I purchased two pairs of these pants. I find them to be a very narrow fit in the thighs. They do not fit as well as other pants I have purchased from Brooks.

I was very happy with these well fitting khakis. They are tough enough to go hiking in, and at the same time, can look nice enough to wear around town. The material is thick enough, to hold up well to a lot of use, unlike a lot of other khakis I have.

These are very good if you're busy and don't have time to iron or have laundered. The come out of the dryer looking perfect. I do wish they had a more stylish cut and that they came in petite.

I love these pants. I have them all the colors. I wear them until they wear out and order more. I recommend these for any closet because they are good to dress up or down.

Rated 2 out of 5 by carolina These chinos do not run true to size. They are cut small and narrow. The fabric is thin and flimsy. The quality of these slacks is below the BB standard I am accoustomed to. Please redesign or discontinue.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BetteDavis2013 Great Pants for Work! Crisp All Day
I was looking for a nice, quality work pant that was both comfortable and would stay crisp throughout the day. I recieved my pants and worn them the very next day. They were delivered crisp and ironed. I did not have to do much to them after pulling them out of the box. I am a curvy size 10. They fit perfectly however, if you are curvy, I suggest going a size up and tailoring them as needed. They fit a bit snug around the zipper area and upper thigh. As I wore them throughout the day, the loosed up a bit but I will most likley go a size up and have them tailored to fit me.

Unfortunately, these slacks were cut rather small and were too short in the rise.

I was in need of khakis and could not find anything well-made and appropriate for a woman over 30. I went to BB's website and found exactly what I was searching for - comfortable, soft, well-fitting and flattering pants that do not break the bank.

I purchased a pair of these chios several years ago, and I loved them. So I ordered two more pairs only to find that the size today is not the size of yesterday.
The size 14 of yesterday fits perfectly, while the size 14 of today is skimpy! This is sooo frustrating! What a hassle (and expense) to have to return the product. Also, washing is recommended, but really, dry cleaning keeps the material much fresher.

After just a few washes (per the instructions) these pants begin to look worn and the feel changes. The hem of one leg came undone during the third wash. I have come to expect better quality from Brooks Brothers over the years and was let down greatly by these pants.

Rated 3 out of 5 by OSLG23 Not what they used to be....
I've worn these pants for several years and loved them. I have these pants that are 2 years old are now too big. I went to replace them and in the updated cut I'm a bigger size in the hips and the waist gaps. Also, the fabric is much thinner and doesn't feel as soft.

I have worn these for several years. The first couple of pairs that I purchased were fantastic. The next ones the quality had dropped but the fit was still good. This time the fit was not good. The waist is wider and the legs are narrower.

Rated 3 out of 5 by morninglory29 Great quality, poor fit
Having purchased several pair of similar Brooks Brothers slacks, trousers, and shorts in the past, I expected the sizing to be similar. However, these are disappointingly skimpier in the legs and much lower in the rise.

I have worn these chinos for many years and I too was dissapointed when they changed the fit. But what I have wanted most for years is a pair in BLACK to complete my wardrobe...maybe one day !

My chinos fit really nice. Makes me look polished. I ordered the khaki and the darker colored chinos. I ordered one size up because the size 8 would have been tight around my hips. The size 10 fit perfectly, a little bit big on the waist but nice. To maintain the chinos I would not put these in the dryer, just wash and air dry them so that it doesn't fray around the egdes (or you may dry clean them). These are good quality pants. It doesn't stretch around the bum. I hate when my khakis are stretched looking. I tried different brands like BR and the GAP but these are a winner for me. I might order the navy chinos while they are on sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by painter1942 plain front non-iron chinos
I own 7 pairs. The old ones are tattered but I keep wearing them because last year when I went to replace several colors the zipper length had been reduced to 3 inches. I am 4ft 10in and as you do not have petites I wear 2 regular and have them shortened. I LOVE these pants and can not find the fabric anywhere else. But if the 3 inchers were too low for me, what about normal women? I recommend the pant to all my friendst last year but they complained they were cut too low.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jackie23 Not a Caroline Fit
Over the years, I own a dozen Caroline Fit size "6" pants that all fit the same way. These chinos are not a traditional "Caroline Fit". They are too tight in the thighs and backside. The rise is too short. They are ill-fitting and must be returned.

Brooks Brothers has done it again! I purchased these slacks and wore them to work on casual Friday, I looked as fresh at the end of the day as I did at the beginning. After a full day of activity the slacks were barely wrinkled. In addition to the look, the fit is terrific. I received several compliments on how slender I looked -- even better.

Love these pants. I teach school and this is a perfect look with an oxford shirt and cardigan. For an evening event, off comes the oxford shirt and just the cardigan and pearls dress the outfit up.

Seriously - non iron. Straight from the dryer to the hanger and they look freshly pressed when you put them on. Fit is perfect for me, except for the hems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by workingwoman The best I've found
I HATE shopping for pants. I need pockets, a comfortable fit, belt loops for goodness sake, and I really do not want to iron them. That is why I buy BB chinos time and time again. I work in patient care, and I am on my knees a fair amount, and can get pretty dirty working with my hands. I also have to look respectable. When I'm on my knees, I can't flash people my lower back. My pants need to look pressed even after I crawl on the floor. After a year of wearing a pair once-twice per week (these are ALL I wear!!), my hems are tattered and today the knee ripped in one pair. But I am buying them again because I just won't find anything like this anywhere else!

I have been a Brooks Bros. customer forever. The Chino pants are my favorite. They are a perfect fit; you can count on the size being accurate; they launder easily and require zero ironing. I have owned dozens of pairs. Recently, I had a serious quality problem and Brooks Bros, immediately placed my garments without a single question. Love these pants!!

I have bought a wide variety of Chinos and these are my favorite. They were a bit long so I have them at the tailor, but I am glad for that as I have the option of having them at the length I need. Everyone is different. They are much more comfortable than most Chinos I have worn and look alot better too. The material and workmanship is premium.

I cannot find any Chino's to match the professionalism these pants exhibit. I have had to choose between pants that fit well - these don't as they are too big- and the performance of the Brooks Brothers Chino's. Please when are you going to make these in a size 0? The catalog indicates they are available but that is not the case.

Fabulous style and fit - classic and elegant. A little snug fit so make sure you follow the chart and don't be worried if you have to buy one size bigger than your traditional size. I'm thrilled about them!

The non-iron chino's have been one of the best purchases I have made and even ended up buying them in another color. I highly recommend these pants. They still look great when you have been sitting in your office all day. I only wish they made them in black.

Size 4 was a bit too snuggly, size 6 was a bit too large, but I thought it will be more comfortable. Now, I think I should have tried 6P before buying these pants.
