I am disappointed to find out that the type of fabric of the all-cotton shirt has dramatically changed, when compared to the same exact shirt bought 1 year ago there is a termendous diffference in quality.

These shirts are a confirmation of the excellent level of quality offered by Brooks Brothers. The pinpoint is a texture like Oxford, with a colored thread and one white, but a little lighter, a little smoother, and maybe a little more elegant. Excellent rating.

Everything was great about the shirt, except that perhaps I found the shirt's cotton fabric to be on the thin side. I still would recommend it.

I've been buying the Slim Fit Original Polo Button-Down Pinpoint Dress Shirt for many many years and suddenly the quality has changed for the worse. The shirt is thin and flimsy. It appears that the quality of fabric has changed or the thread-count is much less. You can see through the shirt and see my t-shirt, and the shirt is materially less warm during winter days in the office than my older generation Brooks' pinpoints. The sleeves are very wide at the cuff, yet this is a slim fit cut. The collar seems oversized and poorly shaped. I will not purchase these shirts, or other Brooks products until they change the quality back to where it originally was for several years.
