A Very Nice Pair Of Boat Shoes I'm very fond of these shoes, and they were a very worthwhile purchase. My comparison shoes would be Sperrys, Timberlands and Rockports. These feel like a much more quality build than the Sperrys and more comfortable than the Timberlands. I would rate these the same as the Rockports as far as comfort goes, but without the heavy padding that the Rockports have (why would you want slow drying padding inside of a boat shoe). The leather on these is very attractive and has much more depth than the corrected grain of the other brands. My only complaint on appearance is the padded look of the collar, but it is very comfortable, and I can definitely live with it. May 15, 2010

Comfortable and stylish From the catalog, the great looks are obvious. But I was nervous about fit and comfort, having never actually tried them on or seen them in person. Not to worry - they are great! I've only worn them a couple times now, but am really sold on them. They are soft and "snuggly" on my feet and give surprising support for a boat shoe. The final test will be when they get wet. But so far, they're the best value in boat shoes I've found. April 21, 2010
