An American Classic
Despite the fact that these are not made in the USA this style is an American Classic. Bass weejuns were my favorites but then they changed their model. This substitutes very well for the original weejuns. Look and fit very well. This along with the tassel loafer are the great classic American shoes. look great with slacks, jeans and even bermudas.

My 1954 Brooks Brothers plaid shirt
At Christmas in 1954 I received a Brooks Brothers flannel shirt from my uncle. I still have the shirt today and wear it several times a year. When others see it I am very quick to brag about the quality of this special gift. I visit Brooks Brothers frequently and I'm always pleased with my purchases.

Always in Style
Fashions in footwear change occasionally, but the penny loafer has survived as a versatile basic for many years.
While simple in detail, the shoe is unfailingly comfortable, always in good taste and appropriate for wear in a wide variety of occasions. Brooks Brothers offers the style in several different lines and all the basic colors. I have always found construction and fit to be of excellent quality. Wearing the penny loafer is relaxed, stylish and very satisfying.
