Argyle for School Got this bow tie for my school dress code on formal days. Well presented, the silk and backings are nice and thick, unlike other bows which I have had that are skinny and will simply flop down, this holds for hours on end. One issue is that the adjustable band measurement tabs was sewed on incorrectly, by a 1/4", so the neck size on mine has to be increased by that amount. Pair with a charcoal gray suit and white or blue pinpoint for a formal appearance or a navy blazer and ecru oxford for a more relaxed but no less refined presentation. The weight of the fabric makess for a nice bow that retains it shape all day. The butterfly shape is 2 5/8" at the widest point and is well proportioned even with narrower lapel jackets.
