Looks good, quality is slipping
I've worn BB ties for >20 years and own dozens. I buy a few every year and can see a subtle but real decline in the quality of the fabric. The last 3 dipped considerably. Texture of silk is coarser, wrinkles more easily, doesn't knot as nicely.
Style is timeless and this particular one has a bit of punch while still looking classic.

Great Tie
I'm a Gen Y working as an executive in a Baby Boomer dominated instustry. It was important for me to find ties that are both modern, but very professional (the last thing I want to be called is a "kid"). This tie ties well and looks great with a suit. I like its quality and will probably have a whole rack of similar ties by this time next year. My rule is that if it wasn't sold by Brooks Brothers or the like in 1950, I'm not buying it.
