Great materials, timeless design. I've never been a bow-tie wearer in the past, but I've always been attracted to the style as it gives a unique flair to the wearer, one that's absent when one wears a conventional necktie. This being my first bow tie I was immediately impressed with the heavy duty quality of the construction. The tie has a sturdy feel, and though time will tell how well it ages, it gives the impression of longevity. The bold stripe pattern on this BB tie is classic, and bold without being loud. The color combination is timeless but fresh, and the bow fashions into a nice shape that isn't too big or too small. This in no way appears to be an "old man's tie". I'd definitely recommend this product to someone who wants to make their wardrobe more unique. February 23, 2011
