Rise has changed and is far too short. Unwearable.
I recently bought two pairs of these. The rise is far too short. The pants really pull at your crotch and are extraordinarily uncomfortable as a result. I compared the length of the zipper to the older pair i was replacing, and the zipper was two inches shorter on the new pair. Never knew they were intended to be hip huggers....
This is a horrible design error that, shockingly, persists despite these terribly accurate reviews of a flawed product. BB also discontinued long rise trousers as an option, presumably to reduce SKUs, leaving loyal lifetime customers NO option to get properly fitting trousers.

You Changed the Cut, I'm Leaving BB
You had a great thing going but the new cut is terrible. Rides too high in the crotch. I called BB customer service and they confirmed that they have changed the cut of the Madison and the traditional fit is gone. Unfortunately I'll look elsewhere for my clothes.

What have you done to these pants?
THese are not the same pants as before. I recently bought 3 new pairs - I've been wearing the pleat-front Madisons, size 35x30 for as long as I can remember. Now I have to buy a 37 waist - my old 35s still fit fine - and even with the larger size, the rise is too short, the crotch and the thighs are too tight.
These have been my everyday pants for 15 years, but for the first time I now have to consider looking somewhere else for my basic dress pants.

Very Disappointed
Purchased the identical size of Gabardine trousers I have been wearing for the past year. The new trousers did not fit me. Very disappointed in BB. Not sure why they would change the cut. I do not recommend the purchase of the Gabardine trousers.
