How does the Madison fit compare with the standard Brooks Brothers pants that were available in the past? Is the Madison fit a standard fit or is it more loose? I'm 59 years old and thin, so don't want pants that are too baggy. Thank you.

Madison are the fullest-cut non-pleated pants. (Think "traditional fit" shirts and you'll get an idea.) Since you describe yourself as 'thin', you might want to try a Clark or Regent fit.

They are now made in Thailand. Until a few years ago, they were higher quality and were made in Canada. Quality of materials is significantly worse and material wrinkles very easily.

Unfinished means you need to take them to your tailor. Finished means hemmed, usually without a cuff. You should specify if you want a cuff or not if ordering them finished.

An Finished hem is simply that . The length and finish have already been completed. i.e. Pleats or plain hem. 30' 32'...inseams
An unfinished hem allows you to customize.the trousers.i.e. 32 1/2 " inseam and choose plain of cuffed hem. Note...Cuffed hems are only offered for inseams up to 33" any longer would have to be a plain bottom hem.

A non-finished hem means you need to bring it to the tailor to have it hemmed. The advantage is that it will be hemmed to your measurements and you can choose cuffed or straight. Obviously if you are buying non-finished, you need to make sure the inseam length is longer than what it needs to be trimmed down to.

Hello sir, below we have listed the four fits we use for our dress trousers along with pertinent details.

Madison: Our most classic and traditional-fitting, usually pleated, with our highest rise

Regent: Slimmer, usually plain-front but may be pleated

Fitzgerald: Slimmer still, with a plain-front

Milano: Slimmest, with a plain-front and lower rise in the front and back

They are color matched 1 1/2 - 2" inside the pocket. then, cream color for the actual pocket.
So, even if the pocket gaps, you do not see the cream color.
