Rated 5 out of 5 by Good trousers for casual outfit This is honestly the first pair of trousers I've had that I feel great in. They fit exquisitely, I love the pleats, and have a great feel. Unlike my other pair of BB trousers, which are nice of course, these are a non-hassle to clean (a big plus for me). Just wash them, dry them, and hang them up. Done. I've not encountered the fraying problem, because while mine are long, they don't go over the heel of my shoes. I was concerned about their length but the associate said they would shrink up in time so it was fine. June 3, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by Inconsistent Fit I have been a loyal Brothers Brothers customer for over ten years, but I have noticed that recently (last few years) the non-iron chinos are inconsistent in sizing. I used to be able to try on one pair and then buy several and leave. Now i have to try on every pair because I have no confidence that they will all be the same. Usually the problem is in the waist. One pair will fit fine and the other, supposedly the exact same size, will be way too small. I'm talking not even close. This is not a one time incident either. The quality is just not the same. They also do not hold up as well in the washer. I may have to go back to Ralph!! March 24, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by I have purchased clothes from Brooks Brothers for years and their quality has been generally excellent and consistent. When I purchased these 4 trousers and confirmed their size aned cut, I discovered that they were not nearly the same fit. I am a large man and so I need comfortabhle clothes. The waist on these new trousers were variable, with some being better than others and not the smae as their identical trousers trhat I purchased a few months ago. I worry that the quality control is less than it should be. I am dissappointed since I have been a long standing customer without prior problems. June 23, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Problems with zipper I really like these khakis but 2 of the 4 pairs I own have had a broken zipper within 4 months of owning them. The zipper pull breaks so the only repair is to have a tailor replace the entire zipper. Other than that I really like them. I wish BB would fix the zipper problem. October 17, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 Classic and reliable Can't go wrong with these -- excellent quality, easy to care for; cut is nice blend between fitted and relaxed style. March 1, 2012
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great everyday pants These are great pants, they fit perfect (Elliott Style). I just wish that they have them in brown. They do fray after several washes and/or Dry Cleaning at the hem and pockets. The material just needs some more improving so the fraying can stop. January 7, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Fraying I love the fit and look of the pant but the fraying is a huge problem. I thought the first couple pair were due to being too long but two more I have purchased that are shorter have frayed as well so I can no longer pay a premium for a pair of pants that fray after a short time frame. It is a shame because they are very comfortable and look great. May 25, 2010
Rated 3 out of 5 by I have been a BB customer for35 years. I wear the Elliot kaki slacks almost everyday. The fraying is getting to be too much. I bought 3 pairs less than 4 months ago and they all frayed. Getting to be too much! Love the fit and comfort. Will they replace them? February 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by These pants still look and fit good but they seem to be wearing a lot faster than previous years. I am a long time Boroks Brothers customer who is slowly becoming un-impressed with the wear of these pants April 13, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fits perfect out of the envelope I just lost a lot of weight and have had trouble getting pants that fit and hold up. These fit the bill perfectly and look the part. The pants are well stiched and made of quality fabric. January 12, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by They fray They look and feel great, but they fray quickly. Not a good value because of the fraying. May 20, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by BB great menswear Having discovered BB 9 years ago now, I cannot praise highly enough their great shirts and slacks in the non-iron range. Shirts are a delight to wear and with the fractional fittings available for collars and sleeves a perfect fit is assured. I still regularly wear the first such shirt bought on a trip to San Francisco in 2000, and have added many more on subsequent trips and by mail order (I live in Australia). For long haul travel they are exceptional, looking fresh after a 24 hour plane flight to Europe, and in all circumstances these shirts are a delight to wear. Same goes for the chinos- wonderful quality and great match for the shirts. October 5, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Guy with Odd Sizing I have always had the absolute worst time finding khakis that fit me properly. I have always been a football player and have very thick legs so traditional pants don't normally work for me. I had resigned myself to only buying custom clothing for this purpose. A friend recently told my fiancee about these and that her husband really had good luck with these. I have been shopping at Brooks Brothers for years but for some reason never even bothered to try the pants. I never need to worry about where to get pants again. My only complaint is that I had to go one size bigger in the waist but that is a quick and easy fix. February 22, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Looking Non-Iron Chinos on the Market! These Brooks Brothers Non-Iron Chinos are the best fitting and best looking chinos on the market. Pair them with a Brooks Brothers Non-Iron pinpoint oxford dress shirt for a look that will impress even after a 12 hour day. Easy care wash and dry. Straight from the dryer for a just pressed look that carries you through the day. Dry cleaning is a thing of the past with Brooks Brothers Non-iron chinos and Non-iron pinpoint oxford dress shirts. December 21, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Inseam length is a moving target I like the quality and the fit of Brooks Bros slacks. The only problem I have year after year is the variation in length. Out of 6 pairs of slacks I am going to return 4. If I order 32” length I think it is reasonable to expect the length to be close to 32. Not 32 ¾. The replacement order of slacks will be fine because I will ask someone to measure the slacks before they ship them. August 3, 2011
Rated 3 out of 5 by WAIST SIZE PROBLEMS THESE CHINOS ARE OF A HEAVIER MATERIAL THAN EXPECTED BUT STILL APPEAR TO BE GOOD QUALITY AND SHOULD BE EXCELLENT IN THE COOLER MONTHS. UNFORTUNATELY, IT APPEARS BROOKS BROTHERS TROUSERS ARE ON THE TIGHTER SIDE FOR WAIST FITTINGS AND I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT HOW, FROM AUSTRALIA, TO EXCHANGE THEM FOR A MORE GENEROUS FITTING . October 13, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great slacks with a flaw The pants fit well. They really are permanent press. and keep their crease and shape well. Unfortunately, some of the zippers are not brass and break easily. They appear to be pot metal from their whiteist appearance when broken. Brooks Brothers always exchanged the pants without complaint. January 6, 2010
Rated 4 out of 5 by Fit is a Problem These casual pants are great in every way except one. They are too long. The pant leg is about an inch or two too long, and requires tailoring to fit properly. If you are going to make pants that are finished and cuffed, the inseam needs to be true. It can't be cut too long. January 5, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by . • Am retired, so these are the only slacks that I use for casual wear. • Own many pairs, they fit well, hold their shape, don't show their age even after several years; easy to iron. • On the previous issues the buttons were very weak; now they stay put for several years. November 19, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 Best chinos ever. I have never seen or owned chinos anywhere close to the quality of these pants. They look as good at the end of the day as when I put them on in the morning. The fit is great. I initially purchase two pair and was so pleased with them that I later bought two more. October 2, 2009
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Pants I have worn many brands of Chinos, and these are the best wearing pants yet. They retain their crease and only need a touch up if you wash them. They look so good they can be worn with a sport coat and look as though you were wearing slacks intstead of chinos. February 3, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by First Time Internet I was very concerned about buying over the internet. Since I was unable to see, touch and try on. I was very pleased with the pants. They look good on me, feel good, and size was dead on. I don't think I could have done better. September 22, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great pants These are very comfortable and lightweight slacks that I highly recommend. In the classic pleated style they are everything in quality that one has come to expect from Brooks Brothers. July 21, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally: 31" Inseams If you've been looking for odd-length Khakis, these trousers are for you. No longer must you purchase pants that are too short (30") or too long (32") for alterations. Amen! March 31, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love the new pants for several reasons. First and most important to me is they look great out of the dryer. I am not happy that your stores do not carry the color black. November 10, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice trousers These are the most comfortable trousers I have had in a very long time. They look and fit great. I only wish they were available in a long rise. January 9, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Beware of the Fray! I would recommend these pants for their fit, but they fray. All my Brooks Brothers "Advantage Chinos" have frayed, so I won't buy more. Beware! May 18, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Value and product As I travel often , these trousers are comfortable and hold their shape. The fabric is excellent. March 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Business Casual Pants Ever I love the look and fit of these pants. I would recommend them to anyone. February 22, 2012
