Rated 3 out of 5 by Please fix the quality Either the fit is right for you or it isn't...so I wouldn't recommend putting much stock in reviews which say the fit is bad. The cut seems uniform (e.g., all the segments are proportional). Yes, they are more snug than other cuts, but that's what to expect out of the Milano cut. If you want a slim, tight fit, these will work quite well for you. Now, the real, undeniable trouble with these pants are the quality. Do not expect the pair to last. The cuffs will start to wear out after 5-7 washes, even on a gentle cycle. The navy color will start to fade after 2 washes (the fading won't be horrible, just don't expect the pants to remain as dark as they are received). I own four pairs of these pants and two pairs of the lightweight version. You might expect the lightweight version to wear out fast if not handled very gently just because of the thin nature of the fabric, but it's pretty remarkable how easily this heavy fabric frays. This may sound absurd, but the only real chance of survival is hand-washing them and laying flat to dry. Otherwise, just hope no one looks at your ankles. I always wash and dry on a gentle cycle. They are fairly wrinkle resistant, which is a big plus, and are quite passable in a business casual environment. January 13, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Average BB pants highly disappointed!!! These pants from Brooks Brothers look great at first and fit perfectly but after one wash you notice that the dark navy blue has faded and the pant cuffs have frayed. The quality of these pants is very poor; now I have strands fraying from my cuffs. I am very disappointed because I have always associated "quality" with Brooks Brothers products and these fall very short of expectations. I cannot recommend these pants and will be looking elsewhere for my casual work pants! February 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable and convenient...while they last These pants are a workhorse for the weekday wardrobe. I would not wear them to an important meeting but they work perfectly for regular days in the office. The wrinkle free fabric works and helps avoid constant trips to the dry-cleaner. Unfortunately, they fade quickly and will fall apart at major contact points like the belt loops and cuffs. They are priced right (particularly when they are on sale) but don't expect more than 8-12 months out of them if you wear them regularly. July 5, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have Chinos These chinos have a great look and are comfortable. They come out of the drier with a perfect crease. January 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Fitting Chino! I've been looking for a quality, slimmer fitting chino for a couple of years. Most of the chinos out there are just too baggy with a huge rise. Not a good fit for my younger generation... I tried on my new Milanos this morning and was so excited about their fit, I went online and ordered two more. Eventually I plan on replacing all my chinos with this pant. It has a lower rise than usual, so remember the length is "inseam." The total length of a pant is the sum of the inseam and the rise. The shorter the rise the longer the inseam you need. This might be why some people had a length issue. I normally wear a 30 length in normal Brooks Brothers pants, but wear a 32 length in this pant. Think jeans... April 13, 2010
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great classic look, great fit... BUT... ... after second washing, the dye in the pants have washed out spots. Only happened on one of the three pairs I bought. Not the kind of thing I'd expect from BB. November 1, 2011
Rated 2 out of 5 by Milano chino I wish these chinos fit as good as they look. I am 5-9 with a slim build and have difficulty understanding just who these pants are cut for. The size 32's I purchased are big in the waist and very tight in the seat. If I upsize for the seat I will have 3-4 inches of bulk in the waist. May 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Essential Khakis I have had these pants for going on 6 months now i have worn them very often. I love the slimness of the milano cut, the thing that i am most impressed by though, is the creases. The pants were pre-creased when i bought them, and now after months of wear and wash they are still as perfect as day one with only minimal ironing. Great all around Khaki, great fit with this slim cut, and they are extremely comfortable December 5, 2010
