Super jeans Great looking, great fit. Flexible for work Fridays or dress up events. Ready for a couple more pair. April 20, 2011
Very Nice Jeans I have both the dark and faded BB 501s. The dark are light weight, soft and have an even dark wash which makes these suitable to wear to the office on Fridays and under sport coats. These are good for spring through fall in the north. The jeans hold there shape well after washing and do not stretch a lot when wearing. Unfortunately the side seam is not taped properly and after washing does not lay straight. The faded pair are certainly soft and a heavier weight denim, and more suitable to wear from fall through spring in the north. The side seam is better on the faded pair, but the jeans stretch a lot with wearing so some folks may want to size down a bit. Overall nice jeans for the price. April 15, 2011
I love these jeans! They're costly, but you're paying for superior quality materials and construction. The cotton feels soft but sturdy. They make me look put-together without looking like I'm trying too hard. They have a higher waist like most trousers used to be cut 60 years ago, so they're not as fitted as other jeans. For a retro look I like to turn up the cuffs a bit with my black & white Chuck Taylor hi-tops, while cuffs down looks smart with a pair of ankle boots. The dark wash looks perfect with a sportcoat for casual evening activities. Due to the cost I wouldn't wear them for doing dirty work like painting or changing oil, but they're great for loafing around the house or going to a bar. March 1, 2011
Excellent fit, fabric a bit too heavy, not for summer. February 23, 2011
