Rated 5 out of 5 by A definite fave I have the lighter of the two pair. They have a very nice color quality about them. For lack of a better term, the color has more dimension to it. The pant has a very clean stylish line and they fit very well. My only qualm, i prefer the narrower opening of the 505 they sell here. Goes great with a polo, dress or sport shirt. February 14, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by USA made 501s Great product! Brooks Bothers and Levis 501 jeans made in USA, as they should be. Price is more than fair for product quality. I have been wearing 501s since high school (I am now 51years old). I was disappointed when they quit making levis in the USA. I will definitely be purchasing more of these jeans. November 5, 2010
Rated 5 out of 5 by BB Levi's look great wish for selvedge though The fit of these levi's is the standard 501 original fit. Bascially they fit like all the 501 levi's since 2008 redesign. The previous reviewer clearly got his 501's before 2008 and mistakenly thinks that BB 501 levi's are a bit tighter than the rest:) On the subject of sturdiness he may have some point as the materials (pocket fabric) or jean fabric (not a selvedge but still good) are perhaps not as sturdy as Billy Reid's workewear 501's. So I would like to see even better selvedge fabric version with hidden back pocket rivets (1947) but surely it would have to be priced higher. As it is these are great jeans for the price.
