After thinking about it for a while I decided to lay down the money and buy this coat; it arrived very quickly (although with huge duty fees + taxes, since I live in Canada) but once I tried it on I stopped caring about all that. This is an excellent coat, well made, fits very well (I wear size 40 regular blazers) and is good for layering.
So far it has handled 0 deg. Celsius weather fine, how it handles the often rough Canadian winters is yet to be determined. Given the weight of the coat, I am not too concerned.
As far as looks go, I have received compliments on it, and it is a very useful coat since you can wear it casually or with a more dressed up look; either way, great looking coat.

I've had mine for 5+ years and love it. IIt keeps me warm in our WI winters and the woll has held up remarkably well. A classic look that is very functional.

This coat is big and heavy. Being 100% wool makes this Duffel a truly substantial garment. It is my coat of choice for sub-zero Minnesota winters.
