great improvement
My son has been wearing these Brooks Brothers chinos since he was 3 years old. He's tall but incredibly thin and these pants never quite fit him. Alas! they have re-designed them and now they fit beautifully. In addition, the fabric is almost no-iron...Simply machine wash and line dry and they'll retain the shape. Great improvement on an all style, thank you

Knees rip easily - truly non-iron
I'm a loyal BB customer. I bought 4 pairs of these for the non-iron quality, which has remained exceptional. However, within 3 weeks my son ripped 2 pairs at the knees. He's had other brands for 5 months, which seem made of a lesser quality/more flimsy material (laundered weekly) and the knees have never ripped. Therefore, these are not everyday pants for boys who enjoy recess and playing at school. Brooks Brothers, I have heard similar complaints from parents of boys at my son's school so please consider reinforcing the knees of these pants.

Only husky boys need apply ...
These pants are every bit as high quality as my own BB non-iron Chinos. That said, I can purchase my Chinos in waist sizes to fit me. These pants are sized by age, and my athletic sons are drowning in theirs.
Brooks Brothers truly needs to ensure that their boys pants have an adjustable elastic sizing system inside the waist to ensure that boys requiring a slim fit have an option.
