Rated 4 out of 5 by BlazingRed Advice on fit for Advantage Chinos
I hope sharing my personal experience will help you decide between cuts for BB's Advantage Chinos.
I am 5'9" tall. When I weighed about 150-155lbs, these Milano's fit my perfectly. I've gained some weight recently, to about 165lbs, and now the Clarks are a better fit.

I purchased the Milano chinos for my husband. He needs a short rise and a slim hip. They fit him perfectly, and they come out of the dryer ready to wear. I Hope that you will come out with some lighter weight material for the summer. Thanks,

Brooks Brothers concession to youth and current fashion, a slimmer and lower rise model. For the young, or those who've kept their body in shape. The non-iron quality is superb, when you're busy and just want to wash and wear your casual pair.

At the age of 42 years and after losing 20 lbs at the gym this year, I'm glad to fit into a pair of Milano Slim fit pants. I'll be back to the store to buy some more. Thank you!

These trousers were very poor quality. Within 6 months, the cuffs were frayed and the button hole was nearly torn through. I returned them for a refund. Thank you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Buyer1 Great Chinos!
These chinos fit better than any other! They are a little on the "slim side" but they work great for me, being 5'9" and weighing 175lbs.

Rated 1 out of 5 by pants Poor Product
These pants fit OK and are definitely stylish. However, they are poorly made. The zippers will stop working after a week (refusing to zip up) and one pair of mine just outright ripped apart while walking. They are definitely not worth the price. I was under the impression that Brooks Brothers made quality, long lasting products, but these pants will only last a few wears before they wear out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AmericanJedi Not for anyone with muscle.
Im 6'0, 185 and very athletically built. I bought a pair of 32 34s and I struggled to get the legs over my thighs. Once I got them up, the waist fit fine but it was like putting a pair of those skinny jeans all the punk kids wear on. I immediately returned them very disappointed, wondering why Brooks Brothers would try to make a pant like this. Ill be sure to visit the store first next time before buying online.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tommy I absolutey love these pants!!!!
Please just make in black and grey etc....
I need more colors.... Also in checks or stipes...Banana Republic does thsi but they are not the quality or fit... Also
have a permanent crease and you can wash with out wrinkles.... Dress pants that you have to dry clean are ok too....
I am professional but we do not where suits to work....many organizations have went this way....I think there is a big market for these pants for that younger and middle age guy that keeps in shape and wants the business casual look!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by furvea Slim fit for shorter people
These are definitely slim fitting pants -- but unless you are 5'10" or under it is unlikely that you will be comfortable with the very short rise. Brooks Brothers should realize than many tall people are also slim!

Rated 3 out of 5 by neurodoc Nice pants, poor fit
I bought these trousers because of the trim fit (Milano). I am 5'9" and weigh 155 lbs.--typically wear trim fit trousers with good success. This particular pant, while appropriately trim in the legs and seat, was inordinately large in the waist. I typically wear a 33" trouser waist. In this Milano pant the 33" waist was at least 2" too large--disproportionate from the trim seat and legs. While usually pleased with BB products, I had to return these (ordered online).

Rated 5 out of 5 by stevieo milano slim fit pants
the milano slim fit trousers are excellent medium weight every day wear and travel pants. stylish fit. no special wash & dry required. does not draw up in length or shrink in hot water wash or hot dryer. perfect for everyday & travel. requires little or no ironing. always look crisp. can use steamer or iron if necessary but have so far i have not found it necessary & they are very wrinkle resistant but do not look like the dreaded wrinkle resistant pants of old.
i recommend 1st wash with cold water & vinegar rinse to set dark colors from fading.
more color options would be a big plus as well as heavier winter weight & lighter summer weight would also be a plus.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SLIDE Milano Chino Pants
The idea of the slimmer, trimmer fit even with a lower rise is a good o be. HOWEVER, there's a serious design flaw in the pants - there's a "peg"on each side starting at the pockets and going below them - makes them look like jodphurs. It negates the wholes idea and purpose of the Milano mdel. I also feel the fabric is too thick, heavy and not at all supple. Furthermore, a hook and eye fasterner at the waist instead of a button would be more desireable.
I was a men's tailored clothing manufacturer in Canada for 40 years and in the 1970s supplied Brooks Brothers with velvet collared chesterfields and Birtish Warmer overcoats!

Is a slimmer fit. They rest a little lower on the hips than regular chinos. That may take a little getting used to. Slimmer in seat and legs.
Quality seems good with solid material.

i found them to be a bit skimpy... also didn't like the front button, it should be just a one button pant

Rated 5 out of 5 by Heffay Perfect pair of pants
As with all clothing, it's too personal for anyone else to get a lot of specific use out of. But the fit and appearance are perfect. I've had some issues with the back hem fraying, but that happens with me on all pairs of pants. They tend to run true to size, so don't expect a huge ego boost when you size them, unlike certain brands like Lucky Jeans. But these pants are perfect; the fabric has just the right stretch vs form, soft, not too thin in the winter and still cool enough in the summer to get decent use. Been waiting a year for the next corporate sale to load up on more!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BgsDks Agree with made for smaller build
I have a muscular build and as a previous reviewer pointed out these are a bit snug for someone with larger legs. I didn't like the way they confined and outlined my gastrocnemis muscles (even with a darker color) and returned them for Clarks. The Clarks worked out well for me and I am able to wear them to a majority of my social engagements.
I did take them to a local tailor (located near my gym) for cuffs which really improved the look of the chinos. The fabric used feels like it should last several trips to the cleaners.
Overall I am pleased with these pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jugo Outstanding contempary silhouette
I am an older guy & am not skinny. I'm thrilled that finallly I own pants that eliminate the excessive bulky goods behind the thigh & knee. The fabric is a good quality wrinkle free beefy cotton. The fit is a little peculiar. The lower rise is no problem but the only way these pants fit me was for my tailor to move the button closer to the hole on the extension tab. I also do not button the inside.(i do zip it up). I have to do all this in spite of the fact that the waist on 3 pair are a full inch larger than the ticket states.

Milano Fit Plain-Front Non-Iron Advantage Chinos are a terrific product from Brooks Bros and the fit is fantastic. Nice and low on the hips, short rise and the leg is tapered nicely with out that baggy look. Two suggestions for improvement would be to offer a lighter color stone - this one is too dark for me. Second, (big problem) the inseam lenght in the 30 inch range is offered in 2 inch sizes which means your trousers are either one whole inch too long or one whole inch too short. That's rediculous.

These are certainly on the slim side. If you can rock that then these pants are awesome. I personally recommend wearing them a little short with penny loafers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by wife Like other BB cotton pants we have tried in recent years, the Milano pants were too short in the rise and have been returned to a BB store for a store credit. The only plain fornt model long enough in the rise to fit my husband comfortably are the Country Club slacks, and they are not available in navy. Please be aware that not all men like pants that sit below the waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by kellgy Fantastic chinos
I wanted a slim fit and tried on the Dockers D1 before these. After getting my first pair of Milanos today, I am glad I did. Ordering another pair today. The fit is looks slim but does not feel slim on my 6'2" 180 lb. frame. The rise is ideal considering perfect fit around the waist and back side. The material is supple and the only down side is navy can collect and show a little lint that is easily removable.
I like the European style closure. The look tempts me to wear it without a belt.

I am a loyal fan of Brooks Bros clothing, but with the Milano Slim Fit pants, I was disappointed. I tried on a pair to check the fit - perfect! I asked for another of the same size in a different color without trying them on. I assumed they would fit the same way. The second pair was so small I couldn't pull them over my bum! I checked the tags - same exact sizes. Maybe a tagging problem? Not sure. However, it was inconvenient to go all the way back to the store to return them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bike Great off the rack Chino
These are great chinos for the price. The cut is not as up to date as you would expect; but if you like a slim cut, this is as close as you can get at this time. There is a great variety of neutral colors. I would have had mine cuffed, but they do not come long or with sufficient excess material.
