Rated 5 out of 5 by Rolly Great chinos for slim physiques only
The key features of these pants include great quality material, a short rise and a relatively snug fit. Do not purchase the Milano style pants unless your body type is a slim shape. If you're a bit chunky, you should purchase the Clark style for a straight front pant. A few months ago I gained about 5-7 lbs and felt uncomforable in this style until I recently dropped the excess weight. Now the pants are my favorite again for casual wear. The front tab makes these pants look a little European however once the tab is covered by your belt, it renders the stylistic aspect of the tab moot.

These are just wonderful pants. The Milano cuts fits me very well. I can wear these pants everywhere. They have become staples to my wardrobe. Even better when you can get them on sale. Can be comfortably worn for 3 seasons. I hope BB will always make this style. Thank you.

As pretty much everyone seems to agree, fit is great for slim guys. No complaints about quality either. The one thing that will keep me from buying them again is the uber-crease. They come with sharp crease that you will not be able to get rid of no matter what. A crease that says: "I want to be casual, but I just can't". It's so sharp you feel like you're wearing pleated pants despite them being nominally flat front.
PLEA TO BB: No one creases chinos any more. No one. And they shouldn't - it entirely defeats the purpose of the chino. I swear these will still be welcome at work if you don't crease them. If someone needs a crease, they can add it themselves. So PLEASE refrain from ironing them into oblivion before sending them out of the factory, and I will come back and buy multiple pairs in each color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mike1941 Brooks Bros does it again!
I wanted a quality pair of Chinos with a slim but comfortable cut. I tried a pair of Milanos on at the Edinburgh store but they only stock even waist sizes and 34" was just too tight. So, I discovered that I could order a pair from the U.S. with a 35" waist-perfect.I normally take 34" waist but I suggest that with slim fit you might want to go up that extra inch.
The Chinos arrived at my home in the U.K. within about three days of placing the order. In my opinion this was excellent service.
Happily I can buy other Brooks products in Edinburgh and now Manchester
Many thanks Brooks Bros.

Rated 5 out of 5 by TD2timeMVP Great fitting chinos
I'm short (5 foot 7) so the Milanos are a great fit for me. I tend to wear my pants below my waist, so the Milanos were perfect. I used to wear Clarks, but wasn't 100% comfortable with them since the crotch would hang a little bit too low and the look was not as clean or refined on me. I'm also skinny, so the pants fit my slender form well. I wear these to the office everday and have only one complaint: the crotch of the pants wrinkles easily after sitting at my desk all day. Other than that, I absolutely love these chinos. They look great.

The "Milano"cut is a good idea, but the fit is a bit tight over the thighs. I like the fact that the rise is shorter than other cuts, allowing the pants to be worn just above the hips without a sagging crotch. The fit is also good through the buttocks without being too tight. Where it fails is the narrow thighs, which in my opinion, are too narrow. I had to return mine because of this. If your legs are very slim and you hate the long rises and baggy buttocks of most pants, then this is a good choice for you.

These are great pants for people looking for a slimmer fit. It's also great that they are non-iron as you can throw them in the washer and they are almost wrinkle free enough to wear right out of the dryer. Should be suitable for most, but if you are really obsessed with pressed pants, they may not be wrinkle free enough for you. They are almost as wrinkle free as the non-iron shirts. The cotton on these pants are a bit thicker though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Jovial Great, except for one thing...
Let me start by saying that these are great pants. They fit slim individuals well and they are very comfortable. But there is one feature that makes me hesitate ever purchasing these again.
The tab closure. These pants close using two buttons at the waist instead of one: one on the inside, one on the outside. In almost all situations this is no problem at all, except for one: it makes it extremely awkward to use the bathroom.
I'm sorry if I sound crass, but it truly is a practical problem. When wearing these pants, it is practically impossible to simply unzip the fly and do your business; the inside button essentially seals the opening shut. Leaving the inside button undone doesn't solve the problem; you run the risk of the tab which is supposed to be fastened to the inside button, um, shall we say, protruding. The only solution I've discovered is simply undoing the front of the pants entirely, which is not only time consuming and awkward but very cumbersome if you're wearing a belt.
Again, I'm sorry if I sound crass, but as far as I'm concerned these pants are wonderful stylistically but utterly fail in executing a basic fundamental of men's pants. If they sold this exact same cut with a simple, one-button closure, I wouldn't hesitate at all in buying it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jwnbigd a really great pair of pants
My normal work day requires me to be on construction sites then to client meetings then back again, These are the best pants I have found that I feel comfortable in both
places. The cut is such that they don't look like your average chinos for clients, but can take a little abuse
at a jobsite and no one at either place confuses them with

I'm really impressed with Brooks Brothers Milano chinos. I'd previously been wearing their Clark fit, which isn't bad but a bit roomier than I wanted.
The Milano has a fantastic sillouette and really gives you a sleek European look. I purchased it in the lightest shade that they have available and looks killer with one of my Navy polos.

I really like the fit of these pants, but the quality is questionable. BB has some issues to work out with these pants. I have been very gentle with these pants, but the cuffs are all frayed on both pairs and just today, the zipper handle broke on one pair. I won't recommend to a friend until these issues are resolved.

Over the years I have purchased various fits of the Brooks Brothers advantage pant and this is finally the first one to nail the thinner body type. The advantage chinos are always great, but now they come in a fit that flatters my body. I highly recommend picking these up if you are a thin guy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DavidfromFrance Perfect fit
While scouting for the best casual (but smart) pants, I read a lot of good reviews on the web about these chinos, so I decided to buy a couple.
They are a perfect fit and don't crease easily. A little ironing now and then and they will look like new for a long time.

Rated 2 out of 5 by BCinDC Problems with cuffs
These pants look great and fit really nicely, but both a friend and I have had the same problem with the cuffs getting ragged very quickly. I wonder if whatever makes the fabric so smooth that it doesn't wrinkle also results in the fabric being more sensitive to wear?

Rated 4 out of 5 by Forget The black fabric was not as black as I would like, too faded looking. I have actually thrown out pants that were not as faded as these. But the fit is great so will keep them.

These are the best fitting pants I've ever purchased. The quality is top notch and I like the short rise because I'm 5'7" tall. I'll only be purchasing this brand of pants for both my casual and professional needs.

These are way better than Banana Republic, for about same price. Thicker, softer material. I love the slim fit and the fact they sit lower on the waist. I will definitely be buying more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MichaB Good fit for a slim guy
We got these pants for my father, a 67 year old who runs 6-12 miles every day and is far more fit than my husband or myself. Most chinos are baggy on him. These fit perfectly and do not look like he's been shopping in the teens' department. The fabric is soft and not too heavy. Since we got the first pair, he has purchased two more himself. My husband, more of a classic fit guy, loves the advantage chino in his fit too!

only reservation I have is that there appears to be a mismatch between the buttons and the button holes. The button is difficult to undo and will in time I believe come off.

Rated 4 out of 5 by zhorn A great chino, for someone with a smaller build!
I loved these chinos...however, they were a bit too snug in the legs, so I had to send them back. Full disclosure, I am 5'9, 180 pounds, and have a muscular/bodybuilder build. I ordered two pairs of the 32/30s and they fit perfectly in the waist and length. However, you could see the outline of my quadriceps, and they noticeably flexed through the material when I walked. Needless to say this made the pants inappropriate for a professional environment, so I exchanged them for the Clarks.
Only slim men with a runner's/swimmer's build should order these chinos...bodybuilders stay away, even if you are slim.

Rated 4 out of 5 by QTrac Well cut pair of pants
These chinos are well cut but the fabric is a bit too heavy for summer. I ordered them to wear during dress down days at the office this summer, but I doubt they will be wearable in steamy Manhattan in July and August.

I discovered these chinos after reading about them in a style forum blog. Several commenters seemed to like the style and fit of the Milanos so I had to try them out myself.
They fit well and look good. I like the lower rise of these pants.
I only wished that they would offer these in size 30x32 other than black and stone colors.
