Monogram I recently purchased 7 oxford cloth button downs with a block monogram. I was disappointed with the size of the monogram itself. It is 1/4" tall and really is to tall. I remember my first trip to Brooks Brothers on Peachtree Street in Atlanta over 30 years ago as a teenager. For years I wore the same shirts monogramed and the actual size was smaller. Even the example on the internet apppears to be smaller. About 10 years ago I started buying shirts from Robert Talbott but recently decided to go back and try the oxford cloth. The quality is similar to what I remembered; however if I order these shirts again in the future (or for my 2 sons) I will have the monogram done elsewhere. January 22, 2010
