Extremely Satisfied Pruchaser This is the first time that I have purchased button down oxford shirts from Brooks Brothers. I love the feel of the Supima cotton. I had been purchasing Polo brand button down oxfords. The qulity of the Brooks Brothers shirt is outstanding. The collar lays nicely against the shirt, the cuffs look very neat and I like the single button cuff" it gives the shirt a tailored look rather than an off the rack look of one size fits all. The Traditional Fit shirt is cut well for a bigger man. The fit of the shirt across the shoulders is very roomy which works well for me a tall person with 36" arm length. The Brooks Brothers shirt tail is extra long in comparison to Polo and has an extra button below the belt line which helps keep the shirt together should it pull out of the belt line while wearing. Overall I think the value versus cost for this shirt is outstanding and I would recommend it to anyone! Thank you Brooks Brothers for making an excellent shirt that works with or without a jacket. Still very good I own several dozen in various colors, some decades old. I wish the collar and cuff were unlined or at least had a softer lining. I also wish it was still offered in peach, stone, helio, and green. December 6, 2009
A true classic The Brooks Brothers Oxford Cotton Button Down (OCBD to afficianados) is the very best. They are such a wardrobe staple that I forget how wonderful they are, but after wearing similar shirts from other makers you remember how much better the original is when you put it on. I especially like that they are a "cotton white" (i.e. slightly subdued). The only drawback is that they are too blousy for some, but that's why Brooks has trimmer cuts. November 24, 2009
Cotton Oxford Shirts I have only worn BrooksBrothers cotton oxford shirts for more than 25 years. They hold up well with repeated laundry and they always look great. The only dress shirt I will ever own! October 4, 2009
