I'm in a bind. Your extra slim fit are bordering on weirdly too tight for the hospital. Your slim fit are nearly perfect in the chest (not too loose not too tight), but the arms are incredibly baggy. Please slim the arms of the slim fit to be in proportion with the body of the shirt.
Other than that, the fabric and build quality of the shirt make for good value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Medicalmax Best everyday shirt on the market!
I not going to say that I love paying a lot for clothes but I consider the Brooks Brothers Non-Iron shirts to be the highest value clothing that I buy. They are truly non-iron in you follow the laundry directions. The hold up extremely well and I get years out of each shirt with weekly wear. They are also perfect for travel and dry very quickly when hand washed and hung. Needless to say I am not a dry clean guy with a maid that does my laundry.
On fit, I have tried the quality shirts from other manufacturers but the Slim Fit is the perfect mix of trim without being snug. I just don't think the snug/stretch stuff looks professional.
I am writing this review because so few products have pleased me so well with the service that they deliver.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Franz0220 Nice (fairly) slim dress shirt
This is a very nice dress shirt; I now own 5 BB dress shirts. The look is sharp and classic. I'm 6' 0", 168 lb w/ an athletic build. In BB sizing, I wear a 15/35 (in other brands I wear a 15 1/2 neck). The torso of this shirt is almost perfect for me: its athletic cut affords enough room for my chest and shoulders while tapering nicely to my 31" waist. I tried the extra slim fit as I like my shirts snug, but my chest and shoulders simply wouldn't fit. My only complaints about the slim fit is that the sleeves (particularly the upper arm) are still rather large; unless you've got 18" biceps, there's just too much room. I know that many other reviewers have made this same comment; hopefully at some point BB will implement this suggestion. My other comment is regarding the material which I believe is a consequence of the non-iron feature: the shirt is rather stiff--especially the placket. I love the non-iron feature and maybe this is just asking too much, but I wish the shirt was softer and fell more naturally as it feels like a shirt that has been rather well-starched. Overall, this is a great shirt as evidenced by the fact that I have 5 of them!

The non-iron dress shirt is the best quality of its type that i have worn. You can truly take it out of the dryer, wrinkle free. It not only is wrinkle free but holds it's shape and body well through many washings. No need to take it to the dry cleaners.

Great fitting shirt and yes, wrinkle free. The shirt was stuffed in a garment bag on a recent business trip. Hung it up overnight and it was perfect the next day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MTB56 Looks and fits great, but doesn't last as long
My colleagues and I love the fit and look of the slim fit shirts. However, we've noticed recently that our newer shirts don't last as long as our older shirts we are replacing. The edges tend to fray a lot quicker around the collar and cuff. Also, they have been getting pin holes in the same spots where the sleeve and cuff meet. I thought it was just me at first as my shirts get a lot of use. However, my colleagues are noticing wear in the same areas as well including the pin holes.
When I think of Brooks Brothers I think of refined quality. So, I'm hopeful that this is a temporary issue. However, I will be monitoring the wear of my recent purchases to see for certian.

I have been wearing these shirts for 6 years, and ALL of the hard-working shirts I bought 6 years ago have been worn hard in a hospital environment. Yet every single one is still in service, looking virtually new. You probably know by know that the styling of these beauties is very distinctive and quietly regal. What you may not know is that they are extremely durable and colorfast, even when one has to use harsh cleaning methods to remove difficult stains like ink, blood and oils. Yes, they cost a little more (though they go on sale 3 or 4 times a year), but one of these wears as long as 3 or 4 lesser shirts - making them an excellent investment. You won't be sorry!

The only reservation I have about the slim-fit buttondowns is the roll of the collar. It is flatter than the traditional buttondown's roll..(In my salad days that is the reason I never bought Hathaway buttondowns). I realize that the fabric, even after several washings, is not as supple as the traditional fabric Perhaps that is the reason. But, moving the button up or adding a fraction of an inch more fabric might do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by DocT Best quality, best fit
I dont know of another mens clothing store that offers four different fits for their shirts. Typically the larger the neck size the larger the body size, however, BB offers a traditional, regular and slim. With a 18 inch neck I can wear a slim cut for a perfect fit. I have purchased about 15 shirts in the last 6 mo. and all fit perfectly, are well made, and still look like new. Won't buy another dress shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bulldog65 Best Dress Shirt Ever
I first purchased the no-iron business shirts threee years ago a little skeptical of the no-iron claim. I must admit I was proven wrong as these shirts have held up well wash after wash without the first sign of an ironing board. These shirts are also good for those who travel. Just take them out of the suitcase, hang them up and the wrinkles fall right out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JimH Best Wrinkle-Free Shirts
The wrinkle-free button-down shirts are excellent in fit, value and appearance. One particular reason I buy them is for the longer tails, which stay tucked in nicely. Also, the wrinkle-free feature is outstanding. I travel in the Far East, and can wear them all day long in the humidity, and still look great for dinner with clients. Never travel without one!

I wanted to add a pink dress shirt to my collection and purchased, a All Cotton, Non-Iron, Slim Fit. It goes well with everything from dress slacks, Khaki, and denim. I actually wore it on Valentine Day and recieved numerous compliments.

I own several of these shirts and will likely purchase more in the future. The quality of the shirt is very impressive, and I love the slim fit. You really can't find a better collar roll off the rack at these prices.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NoStarchPlease BB Makes It Too Easy to Buy
The shirt quality is on par with other department store brands that follow the conservative trend that BB does. I find that I pay about $20 more for this shirt, but for that extra $20, I am almost guaranteed to find my size in both slim fit and non-iron, which is worth not having to sort through a jungle of junk at the big department stores and most of the time come up empty handed. I also don't have to deal with the sales person trying to sell me some club going shinny material shirt when I only need white and blue.
I find that these last about a year if worn regularly. The cuffs and button row start to fray at about that time. The sales person says that this is caused by dry cleaning, but that is not the case since I do not dry clean these as directed.

Rated 1 out of 5 by tucker Strange disappointment
I recently purchased a dark blue button-down, non-iron, slim-fit cotton shirt, which was about the 30th or so I've purchased, but my first in dark blue. I was therefore completely surprised that the shirt performed nothing like all my others. I imagine there is something wrong with the dark blue dye and how it interacts with the cotton. The problem is that all my other shirts have the breathable comfort of 100% cotton, while this shirt is as hot and uncomfortable as if it was made of the cheapest polyester. I will continue to buy Brooks Brothers shirts, but never again in this color.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Buzzy715 Not as slim as you think
Nice quality shit with fit problems. I'm a 16.5, with broad shoulders and chest and a narrower midsection (but by no means am I skinny), and the taper of this shirt is only significant in comparison with a normal brooks dress shirt. The extra slim fit is for twigs. There's a subset, to which I apparently belong, who could use an athletic-type fit perhaps. I'll wear this shirt under suits and sweaters, or when I REALLY don't feel like ironing, but it' still too billowy to be worn with slacks and no jacket. As always with Brooks dress shirts, the fanning of material where the cuff meets the sleeve and the lack of a button in the sleeve placket are mystifying.

Rated 5 out of 5 by lobstajohnson Just perfect!
I have bought a ton of shirts from a ton of different places; I've tried to economize by buying cheap shirts from discounters and after 55 years of this malarkey I finally realized that QUALITY MATTERS. My closet is full of junky shirts from lesser manufacturers that looked ok for a few wears but then started showing their age quickly. At some point I noticed that the Brooks Bros shirts never fell prey to this malady. My closet is also now full of Brooks Bros shirts, some of them MANY years old that are still perfect. I'll never buy anything else. Thanks!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Fitz Excellent quality and last a long time
For many years I have worn these shirts. In general, they are very good quality and fit. They are also comparatively expensive.
Last year I tried lower-cost options from competing suppliers. That was a mistake.
Shirts from other suppliers, though less expensive, did not maintain as well-pressed an appearance and did not last as long. Note that no shirt - short of 100% nylon - look perfect compared to a traditional starched shirt, but these are as close as you can come to the fresh-pressed look in cotton without the cost or hassle of pressing.

I purchase shirts from Charvet, Ciffonelli, Brioni, etc ... and although these shirts are wonderful quality and I will continue to purchase them, I buy far more of the Brooks Bros Non Iron Slim Fit Pinpoint Button-Down Dress Shirt. Nothing beats it for looking fresh at the end of the day, being able to launder it to perfection ... any stain simply washes out, and it lasts for years. I couldn't recommend it highly enough for the most finicky shirt-buyers. Absolutely brilliant value.

I am glad that BB has expanded their slimmer fitting shirt offerings. Now I can buy and wear right off the rack vs. buying for correct neck, shoulder, and sleeve fit and then having the tent-like body altered by my tailor. I highly recommend these shirts. The only thing I don't like are the buttons-would it add much to the overall cost to use thicker MOP buttons instead of the thinner buttons with the white backing? This is the only thing holding my rating back from "excellent".

These are not slim fit shirts. The label says so but they are not. They are nice looking shirts otherwise in the Brooks style, but they blouse considerably at the waist. I do not recommend.

I bought these for my husband just as a trial to see if perhaps they were worthy. Indeed they were. I then purchased some for my brother as a gift and he loved them as well. The regular fit was far too wide for them as it is in many other brands so we were grateful to find them in the no iron as well.
Certainly it is better for the environment and our overall health to not be using so much cleaning fluid as well.
