Rated 2 out of 5 by Great shirt for a year or two The shirts look great, are comfortable, and best of all, don't have to be ironed - they always keeps their crisp look! However, somewhere between the first and second year, every Brooks Brothers non-iron shirt I've owned would wear out - usually around the elbows, along the sleeve crease, and the edges of the collars and placket. That's after only wearing the shirt once every two weeks (at most), and laundering them at home (no dry cleaners). I have other shirts from cheaper companies that have lasted for years without falling apart the way my BB shirts have. Perhaps it has to do with the non-iron fabric - it may be weaker...
