Nice quality shit with fit problems. I'm a 16.5, with broad shoulders and chest and a narrower midsection (but by no means am I skinny), and the taper of this shirt is only significant in comparison with a normal brooks dress shirt. The extra slim fit is for twigs. There's a subset, to which I apparently belong, who could use an athletic-type fit perhaps. I'll wear this shirt under suits and sweaters, or when I REALLY don't feel like ironing, but it' still too billowy to be worn with slacks and no jacket. As always with Brooks dress shirts, the fanning of material where the cuff meets the sleeve and the lack of a button in the sleeve placket are mystifying.

The design is timeless and the fabric has no rivals. It is not possible to ask for more.

The slim fit is great if for us guys with big shoulders, broad chest, and normal waists. The benefit of these slim cuts is that the fit your neck and shoulders without having a garbage bag look at the waste. They stay tucked in pretty well too. Looks great in the work place but you can also throw on some shorts and roll the sleeves up with a bloody mary on the weekends as well.
Just make sure you try everything on before you buy. Brooks Bro's clothes (especially pants) sizes are inconsistent.
